Activities and Participants Workgroup »

The Activities & Participation Workgroup has three primary tasks: (1) Schedule Workshops for the reserved meeting space at Goodman CC; (2) Suggest and Schedule internal ( at Goodman CC) and external activities that contribute to the purpose of the day; and (3) Tie in Participation efforts to suggested events, activities, and workshops (i.e. who to target, etc.).

Logistics Workgroup »

The purpose of this workgroup is detail management. The two primary areas of logistics are: (1) general logistics and administration for the event; and (2) coordination with the workgroups and committees to handle their above average logistical needs.

Media and Toolkits Workgroup »

The purpose of this workgroup is to develop a media strategy for generating awareness and participation in the Nonprofit Day. This purpose encompasses: (1) Nonprofit Engagement; (2) Public Engagement; (3) Media Engagement; (4) Cross Segment Engagement; and (5) Resource Development.

Purpose Workgroup »

This workgroup is comprised of initial planning participants and auxiliary contributors. The purpose of this workgroup is to define a 'purpose' statement from the two overarching purposes of this Nonprofit Day: (1) awareness, and (2) education.

Speakers and Experts Workgroup »

The purpose of this workgroup is to work in collaboration with Activities Workgroup to identify potential speakers, trainers,and presenters for workshops and educational activities; as well as the identification, promotion, and potential training of local 'experts' for the media.

Sponsors Workgroup »

The purpose of this workgroup is to identify and confirm individuals, groups, and organizations that will act as sponsors in three areas: (1) Financial Sponsors; (2) In-Kind Sponsors; and (3) Al a Cart Sponsors.
