Neighborhood Solar Power Plant: Brought to you by Sustainable Atwood

03:30 PM at Goodman Community Center (Length: 90 min)

Community Solar Wisconsin (CSW) has designed an in depth proposal for scaling up solar energy to the community level. At this presentation you will see CSW’s proposal for a cooperative membership organization that educates members about solar power and facilitates the creation of solar power plants in our neighborhoods. CSW is working with Sustainable Atwood—a neighborhood-wide sustainability initiative—as a pilot community solar project.

This is a great session for those who are thinking about investing in solar but that big wonderful shade tree casts a shadow on the roof; those who have full sun exposure but aren’t sure they can afford solar; or those who wish their whole neighborhood could go solar by sharing large solar panels.  Join Kurt Reinhold, from CSW to learn more about it all.

Make yours/ours a clean energy neighborhood.
