Stepping Up: Moving from Member to BOARD Member
09:00 AM at Goodman Community Center (Length: 1hr)
Nonprofit organizations are run by volunteer Boards of Directors. Nonprofits are often looking for new people to add to the Board - could you be one of them? This session will describe how Board of Directors operate, what kind of responsibilities Board members have, and what might be expected of you if you join a Board. We’ll also talk about resources available to help you be a better Board member.
