Come, learn ways to promote inclusion and create a welcoming environment for everyone.  Take a look at tips and strategies to work with individuals with disabilities in your organizations or programs.  Let’s talk about person-first language and how to adapt and modify activities to focus on abilities, not DISabilites.

Kate Dvorak coordinates Inclusion Services at MSCR and has more than 9 years experience supporting and serving individuals with disabilities.  MSCR offers inclusive programming to the Madison community through Arts and Enrichment programs, Sports instruction and leagues, after school programs for school-aged youth, and a variety of other fitness and recreation opportunities.  To learn more, please visit www.MSCR.org.
