Sustainable Atwood’s Open House
Our Open House is literally at a neighbor’s open house. That’s where we start and end—with real neighbors—businesses and residents—in real homes, on computers, meeting at local restaurants, businesses and buildings, in parks, on walks, and in living rooms. Come and check out the following:
The Sustainable Atwood (SA) Metro Commute Card is here! If you are currently a bus rider—or are considering making the green choice to use the bus more often—this is the program for you. Participants are issued an unlimited use card and billed for the number of trips taken per month at $1.15 per ride. Deposit required. Bring your checkbook and get your SA Commute Card and ride the bus today. Free Metro canvas bag with every sign-up.
Green Transportation is one of many categories of sustainability being taken on by Schenk-Atwood-Starkweather-Yahara (SASY) neighbors. Sustainable Atwood’s other categories are Water, Energy, Health, Commerce & Industry, Food, Land Use, Urban Forest, Social/Cultural and Communications.
