Tour: The River

The River Food Pantry is Dane County’s busiest food pantry, serving over 500 families each week.  We offer free groceries, clothing, household items and meal to families struggling to make ends meet.  Located on Madison’s Northside, near low income housing, subsidized senior housing and a trailer park, The River provides a much needed social service to residents of one the most concentrated areas of need in our city, though over half of our clients reside in Dane County, beyond our immediate zip code.  Come tour our facility on Thursday at 1pm during one of our four weekly pantry sessions to see our service to the community in action.  The tour will take about 30 minutes.
