Brenda Gonzalez of New Routes, Interviewed

The Wisconsin State Journal Series’ Know Your Madisonian interviews Brenda Gonzalez, deputy director of New Routes to Community Health. New Routes to Community Health, a national program that uses locally focused media created by immigrants to improve their health. With a bachelor’s degree in social psychology, she immigrated to Wisconsin 14 years ago from Mexico and also has worked for the city health department and as director of interpreter services and cultural outreach for Dean Health System.
