Call for Proposals: Madison Nonprofit Day Workshops

Madison Nonprofit Day is looking for consultants, presenters, researchers and other professionals to extend the depth and range of educational opportunities offered to nonprofits in the Greater Madison Area on Thursday, 5 August 2010, Madison Nonprofit Day.

Madison Nonprofit Day is an annual day to celebrate and raise awareness of Madison’s vibrant, multi-faceted nonprofit community. A daylong event that includes: workshops and seminars for nonprofit professionals and volunteers; and a variety of community education and engagement activities.

The educational opportunities for nonprofits are to provide access to the array of nonprofit management and development skills that numerous nonprofits can not afford to send staff and volunteer to. From establishing a nonprofit to managing organizational change; Madison Nonprofit Day hopes to offer a depth and breadth of nonprofit workshops free to the public throughout the day. We are looking for professionals who would be willing to provide workshops/discussions on any of the following topics:

  • establishing a nonprofit;
  • strategic planning;
  • fundraising;
  • mission-driven marketing;
  • social media;
  • technology;
  • communications;
  • grant making;
  • knowledge building;
  • engaging volunteers;
  • engaging young professions;
  • building leadership;
  • diversity;
  • organizational change; and more.

July 15, 2010 is the deadline for submitting workshop proposals. The proposal process is simple and easy to complete. We primarily need the proposed title of the workshop, a brief description, and the name of the presenters/panelists. Proposals can be submitted online at:
