Introducing…The Collaborative Fundraising Project

The Collaborative Fundraising Project is a pilot effort to explore innovative ways of raising funds, especially for smaller nonprofits. The idea, at least its implementation for the Madison Nonprofit Day, is very simple. Each nonprofit interested in participating in the program recruits at least one business to make a donation. The donation is either a percentage of a specific day’s revenue or a set amount. The collective pool of funds is then split evenly among each participating nonprofit organization.
