Leadership Wisconsin

JoAnn Stormer is Executive Director of the Leadership Wisconsin in partnership with the University of Wisconsin Cooperative Extension. Leadership Wisconsin is designed to strengthen communities by preparing leaders as catalysts to effectively deal with today’s changing world. The intensive two-year program is for women and men in the early stages of their leadership careers—old enough to have demonstrated their leadership abilities but young enough to make a significant future leadership contribution.

JoAnn was the founder and then Interim Director of the Wisconsin Nonprofits Association (WNA).  She began this work by conducting research and then leading a team of nonprofit leaders from around Wisconsin in its formation and development. These efforts lead to the opening of WNA in November 2007. WNA works to strengthen Wisconsin’s nonprofit sector and in turn help individual nonprofits to reach their fullest capacity and better serve their constituencies.

JoAnn has over twenty years experience in a various roles with nonprofit organizations developing curriculum, conducting leadership training, fund raising, marketing and administration.
